Rystix Exterior Penetrating Oil
Low film build, deep penetrating moisture resistant timber oil. Penetrates into the surface of the timber giving a water repellant durable coating, also has a high resistance to fungal attack through the action of approved fungicides and biocides.
Rystix Exterior Penetrating Oil dries slowly to form attractive matt sheen which enhances the appearance of the original timber.
Rystix Exterior Penetrating Oil is suitable for application to softwood or hardwood including timber with a natural oil content or that has been treated with wax based products.
Rystix Exterior Penetrating Oil is an economical alternative for doors, windows, patios, decks, fascias, picket fences & wendy houses etc. that are likely to be directly or indirectly exposed to the weather.
Rystix Exterior Penetrating Oil is ideal as a coating for hardwood decking such as balau, ipe, garapa and many others.
Note: UV Protection: The clear variant contains some UV filters and inhibitors, but no pigment to enhance UV protection. For better UV protection, the mahogany or oak colours with the UV filters and inhibitors will increase coating lifespan and better protect the timber.
Owatrol Textrol Penetrating Oil

SUITABLE FOR
Soft or hardwoods: Cedar, Larch, Pine (pressure treated or not), Ash, Oak, ipe...
Can be applied to both horizontal surfaces (decks, walkways ,...) and vertical surfaces (cladding, shingles, fences...) and other exterior wood structures
Do not use on new wood - use SEASONITE
APPLICATION
Apply an application of TEXTROL and allow to penetrate for 15-30 minutes.
Apply a second application and allow to penetrate for 15-30 minutes.
Repeat this procedure until the wood is saturated i.e. will accept no more oil.
Do not allow TEXTROL to become touch dry or dry between coats (apply "wet on wet").
Once the timber is saturated, always brush out or wipe up any excess product that has not penetrated to avoid shiny spots.
The appearance of TEXTROL gradually lightens over time due to exposure to the sun and UV rays. When the wood has lightened to a light grey colour, it is time for a maintenance application.
