Guaranteed Corrosion Resistance

The GuardDog coating has been tested and approved for use in ACQ, Copper Azole PT, Cedar, and Redwood applications. This fastener is guaranteed to protect against rust for the lifeof the project.

Installation Procedures

Use a 0-1800 RPM variable speed drill (at least 14.4V if cordless). Use the PoziSquare driver bits provided. Install fastener perpendicular to deck, increasing drill speed as the screw threads into the deck. Slightly countersink. Do not overdrive. If cam-out occurs, remove and replace screw.

Dextra Decking Screws

• Plated in zinc 15 microns to BS 3382 and coated in yellow passivate to withstand up to 1000 (min) hours salt spray resistance.
• 25° Sharp point for easier penetration into all wood types.
• 40° Deep single thread to provide secure fixing with a high pull-out resistance.
• Double countersunk and ribbed under the head to assist self-countersinking.

SmartBit is a plastic and steel drill bit that is designed for pre-drilling and countersinking in one operation for decking and joinery applications.
